Q: I loved your seven-tier cake that I saw in a magazine. I'd like it for my wedding, but to serve thirty-five guests. Can you make adjustments to the cake?

A: We can adjust some proportions and replicate a style on a reduced scale, but not every design can be physically reduced with successful results. Size alone limits some structures and not every style can be appropriately reduced. We may have to produce a cake that is larger than what you require in order to get the proper ³look.² But in so doing, we may be able to offer you greater diversity in the cake, so that each guest gets to sample a variety of flavors and textures.
